We’re here Forever!

In uncertain times, it is important to continually plan for the future and create a financially sustainable organisation. The Guide Dog Foundation is primarily motivated to ensure that VisAbility and Guide Dogs WA are here “forever” and that people who are blind or vision impaired continue to receive the valuable services they want.

Join the first Giving Group of the Guide Dog Foundation!

You’ll be part of a special group of keen philanthropists and the $20,000 from your group will help us reach our initial $3 million milestone.

Each dog pictured in this group is valued at $1,000 and every time $1,000 is given by a generous donor, we will mark off each dog below…one by one. You can follow the ongoing success of your Giving Group!

If you give more than once, we’ll reach our target quicker and be closer to the goal of providing a puppy to join the Guide Dog training program each year…forever.

Please donate your fully tax deductable $1,000 here: Donate

“Forever” making a life-changing difference.

The successful completion of this first Giving Group will be a significant step on the journey toward ultimately reaching $10 million and being in a position to provide the biggest single amount of annual flexible funding for VisAbility and Guide Dogs WA.

Flexible funding gives the freedom to follow vision and mission without limitation. It allows VisAbility and Guide Dogs WA to innovate and react to the new world and its challenges.

You can now be part of effective, long term giving with other passionate, like-minded individuals. Anyone can become a philanthropist and create a massive impact on the lives of others...forever.

Simply select $1000 on the donate page to make your fully tax deductable gift.

“Tara has made the darkness of my day and night a place I no longer feel lonely in.” – Jackie with Guide Dog Tara.

These dogs are very special.

Sometimes, our puppies may be more suited to another career outside of being a Guide Dog. Our alternate pathways program means that a dog may be more suited to a career as a Companion Dog for children or adults with a disability, or a Therapy Dog in a wide variety of settings.

“Belle is an absolute blessing… I simply cannot find the words to convey how much she is loved and valued… and how incredibly grateful we are.” – Nicole, mother of Emily with Companion Dog Belle.
